Marriages breakup as a result of numerous problems. Financial problems are one that often is a major contributor to divorce. The telephone keeps ringing with bill collectors and you can't wait until 9:00 PM when the phone stops ringing. You can't get a loan to consolidate because your credit score is so low no one is going to lend you money or the interest rates will be at such a high interest rate that you are going from one credit crisis to another. Part of the solution is to clean up your credit report to get a higher credit score.

First check your credit file by requesting a copy of your credit report from the three major credit bureaus and see if inaccurate credit information appears in the reports. Contact the bureaus and demand correction. Although this seems simple, it is not and many times information does not get deleted.

Are those late and derogatory information holding you down and it looks like they will never go away for years? There seems to be no hope. Well maybe there is hope!!

There are several companies that help clean up your credit files by knowing the ins and outs of how the bureaus work and taking advantage of the credit laws. It may help to contact them and see if they can use the law to benefit your specific problems. Remember, no one can get liens and judgments removed from actual public records, but the trick is not to have them show up on your credit report.
